Participation of the researchers from the Institute of Zoology at the Scientific Symposium „Biology and Sustainable Development” - 2025

Scientific researchers from the Institute of Zoology of the Moldova State University participated at the 23rd edition of the Scientific Symposium „Biology and Sustainable Development”, organized by the „Ion Borcea” Natural Sciences Museum Complex, with the support of the Bacău County Council. The event took place in person on November 20, 2025, bringing together specialists from various fields of natural sciences.

The scientific presentations were held in two thematic sections: Diversity of aquatic organisms, Diversity of terrestrial organisms, and Genetics, Biotechnology, Environmental protection, Geology, Paleontology, Museology, Museography, Museum education, Astronomy.

During the event, a tribute was paid to Professor Mircea Varvara, PhD, who made a significant contribution in the field of entomology. Through his dedication and the values he upheld, he left an indelible mark on those who had the privilege of knowing him.
